International Student Centre

International Centre has been established in the Directorate of Student Welfare, GKVK, Bengaluru to foster International Co-operation and capacity building. UAS, Bangalore, through The International Centre has collaboration for education and research with International Institutes namely Purdue University, USA; IOWA State University, USA; University of Bremen, Germany; Mc-Gill University, Canada; Ghent University, Belgium; Taiken University, Japan; ICRISAT and many more. Some notable initiatives include Dual degree programme with Western Sydney University supporting students for Doctoral Research. As a part of Centre for Advanced Agriculture Science and Technology (CAAST) project PG students are been facilitated for International Exposure Training. The student exchange programme is in operation between UAS, Bangalore & Gottingen University, Germany.

The International Center also organizes webinars, trainings, and workshops involving scientists working in foreign Universities and international research organizations. UAS-B in conjunction with Western Sydney University in Australia has launched three online certificate courses in scientific writing, bioinformatics and predictive analytics. The stand-alone seminar series have been held involving scientists from North Carolina State University, University of Southern Queensland, ICRISAT.

Foreign Students Centre

The Foreign Students Centre is established to promote, facilitate and coordinate academic interactions of the University with the foreign universities. The centre assists international students pursuing their studies at UAS, Bangalore.  Many students from Kenya, Rwanda, Botswana, Uganda Afghanistan, Myanmar, Mozambique, Nepal and Angola are currently doing UG/PG/PhD at UAS, Bangalore as full-time students.

Foreign Students Advisory Cell

The Foreign Students Advisory Cell functions under Dean Student Welfare to facilitate admission, stay on the campus and welfare of the foreign students at UAS, Bangalore.
