Functions of KrishiChitralaya UAS-B Library is established sophisticated Video Library cum Virtual classroomto provide unique & dynamic real-time online multimedia service to user fraternity.

This facilitates following:
  • Video upload, Video capturing, Streaming & storage, On-demand accessibility.
  • Live /Online classroom including advanced e-learning modules.
  • Videos are uploaded and categorized.
  • Converted captured UASB eventsphotographs into videos & uploaded.

University Library has subscribed several Online Journals, Offline Databases, e-books, e-Journals.

In addition to this ICAR under NAIP Programme is providing access to 5000+ full text journals related to the field of Agriculture and allied subjects.

  • AgriCat @ e-Granth“AgriCat” is a Union Catalogue of the holdings of 12 major libraries (IARI, IVRI, UAS, GBPUAT, CCSHAU, ANGRAU, NDRI, CIFE, CSKHPKV, MPKV, TanuVAS, ICAR HQ-DKMA) of the ICAR Institutes and SAUs combined together.
  • krishikosh.egranth.ac.inWhich provides digital access to different library resources for National Agriculture Research System in India which comprises of Agriculture Research Institutions and State Agricultural Universities.In this initiatives a digital repository  “Krishikosh”
  • IDEAL“IDEAL” (Indian Digital Ensemble of Agricultural Libraries)  has been developed for capturing, digitizing and online sharing of library resources in order to cater to the increasing need of the Scientists, Researchers, Teachers and extension community.
  • On-line Public Access Catalogues – 1 (OPAC)

EZproxy

EZproxy is a web proxy server used by UASB Library to give access from outside the library’s computer network to restricted-access websites that authenticate users by IP address.This allows UASBLlibrary patrons at home or elsewhere to log in through their library’s EZproxy server and gain access to resources to which their UASB Library subscribes.We provide access to e-Resources to users when and where they need it, extend our services beyond the library hours, save the Library users travel time, and provide new services to users who may need access from across town or around the world.
