2. Biogas Development & Training Centre, MNRE, Govt. of India

Objectives:

Providing faculty and other support to the State Government / Nodal Agencies to conduct Training Courses.
Impart training to officers, field functionaries, extension workers, self-employed rural youths, masons and NGOs, who undertake biogas related work on turnkey basis.
Promote biogas technology through Gram Panchayats, Nodal Departments, KVKs and Agricultural Universities through Orientation Programmes, Exhibitions, Seminars, Demos, etc
