Introduction:

The Department of Animal Sciences Established in 2010 to cater to Undergraduate Teaching, Research and livestock Extension, presently offering Undergraduate courses for Agriculture and Ag marketing students
Offering Hands on training program based on skill and business mode & RAWE course which is student ready program for final year undergraduate students. We also facilitate in organizing animal health programs and also offering Agro Industrial Attachment course as part of RAWE
Offering Consultancy and Advisory Services with respect commercial livestock farming to the farming community and for entrepreneurs who are interested in taking up livestock enterprises
Serving as Resource person for various training programs organized by extension units of the University.
Organizing need based Skill development training programs funded by the University and the external funding organizations.
The faculty also coordinate with inter disciplinary research projects and integrated farming system projects of the university.
Guiding Post Graduate Students of Agriculture, Marketing and Agro business management with respect to Animal Husbandry related issues of the student research programs.
